This workshop is for everyone who wants to understand the basic concepts for tracking your business sales and expenses. This workshop will provide you with a one-day training and practice in keeping a ledger, making ledger entries, i.e. debits and credits, and an introduction to reading and using basic financial statements.
If you have no knowledge in basic bookkeeping you must take this class before taking any of the QuickBooks trainings!

Learn to use the popular business accounting software. This course is a basic introduction to QuickBooks and is designed for those with very little to no experience in QuickBooks. QuickBooks allows you to take care of daily transactions in a small business such as writing checks, making bank deposits, transferring funds, tracking inventory items and invoicing your customers. Reporting in these various areas also helps management in making decisions that could be crucial to operations and growth of a business. Learn to set up your company properly with this hands-on lesson. You will need a basic understanding of computers, bookkeeping and how debits and credits work. Seating is Limited to 15. Intermediate QuickBooks – $50

This course is for individuals who have a basic knowledge and understanding of QuickBooks. It is a continuation from the beginning class and will take you through some of the more advanced features of the software. This workshop offers QuickBooks users the opportunity to learn about the more complicated tasks involved in managing their bookkeeping systems. Participants will learn how to customize forms and letters, track credit card transactions, work with asset and liability accounts, condense data, do estimating and progress invoicing, track time and do year-end closings. Seating is Limited to 15. QB 2010 version.
