• 8:00 am to 3:00 pm – Registration in Village Haus; Located on the Base Area Deck
• 10:00 am to 4:00 pm – Practice day; Officials will be at the top of the course to assist

Saturday, February 11, 2012

• 7:00 am to 9:00 am – Final registration in Village Haus
• 9:30 am to 3:00 pm – Practice on practice course ONLY
• 9:30 am to 3:30 pm – RACE DAY
• Single course lane on Exhibition
• One competitor at a time will race on the race course
• Competitors will race during their scheduled category time
• Competitors will compete one run and immediately go back to the start to complete their second run
• 4:30 pm – Awards After Party in Village Haus
• Over $1,000 in cash, gift cards, certificates and prizes
• Top 3 best times in each age category will receive prizes
• A prize will also be awarded to the fastest overall time
• 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm – Live music in Village Haus

• 9:00 am to 12:00 pm – Just For Fun Day registration in Village Haus
• 10:00 am to 3:00 pm – Just For Fun Day
• All riders must have lift ticket to ride Lift #2 and have signed a release.

Craziest Shovel Race Costume Contest

• Race down the course in your craziest costume and win prizes! Must be a registered competitor to compete.

Racing Details

• All racers who are racing in more than one category MUST let the course official know before they start each run with category they are racing for that run.
• Production shovels only – NO MODIFIEDS.
• All racers must have a lift ticket or season/membership pass to access Lift #2.
• Lift tickets to access Lift #2 will be sold at registration. The cost will be $10.
• Everyone will be required to sign a release. Releases will be available during registration.
• Angel Fire Resort will have a very limited number of shovels for use so it is recommended that all racers bring their own shovels.
• Helmets and eye protection are required and will NOT be supplied by Angel Fire Resort. However they can be rented/purchased at the Angel Fire Resort Rental & Retail Shops.
• You must be wearing a bib to be on course including practice courses. NO EXCEPTIONS!
