Please mark your calendars and plan to attend our 3rd 2013 Quarterly Member Meeting on Tuesday, August 20. We’ll meet at the Chamber of Commerce, in the Centro Plaza foyer, from 8:00 am to 9:00 am. Join us for coffee and burritos. We will feature two guest speakers. Tim Hagaman, who is the Community, Business, and Rural Development Representative for the State of New Mexico Economic Development Department, will be talking to us about “Your state Partner in Rural Business.” Ryan Hodge, owner of Angel Fire Mini Mart, will give us his thoughts on “Members Marketing Angel Fire Together.” You don’t want to miss it. We’ll be sharing updates on Chamber Group Insurance, a program the Chamber has been working to put into place for our membership, for almost two years. We’ll share good news about the state regional tourism district changes taking place. The state serves six distinct tourism destination regions within New Mexico with the purpose of working with the public and private sectors in an effort to facilitate regional marketing endeavors through their integration with statewide plans. And we are really excited that the “New Mexico True” state tourism campaign, being coordinating through the Village, is coming to Angel Fire in September! Are you New Mexico true? We will pass along more information soon.
