Layna Harvey & Jo
Personal touches, fresh flowers, delivery service, and errands. Layna Harvey has lived in Angel Fire for exactly one year and already she is providing much needed services to help make life easier for Angel Fire residents. The first business she opened was Beck-N-Call Errand Services. In this business she offers grocery pick-up, dry cleaning and prescription pick-up in Taos, etc. etc. etc. Do you have errands that need to be run but don’t have the time? She is at your Beck-N-Call!
Now she has opened Angel Flowers by Layna. She told me she just sort-of stumbled upon this business. The previous owner had hired her errand services to pick-up fresh flowers for them. When he received a job offer in another area, he offered the business to Layna. She agreed. She has set up shop in her garage. Since Angel Flowers is without a store front at this time, simply check out her website for prices and ideas. Then call her to make your order. When I went to visit, I watched as a simple little vase quickly came alive with beauty as Layna worked her charm. All of her arrangements are custom made and personalized. She has arrangements for all occasions to fit your budget. And all of her arrangements are fresh flowers which she picks up weekly. She asks that you order at least 24 hour in advance and order early for the holidays. And she delivers to Angel Fire, Eagle Nest, Cimarron, Taos Pines, and Black Lake.
A really awesome fun thing she is going to do for Chamber members begins this week. We are going to put all of our member’s names into a hopper. Once a week, until December, we will draw a member name. This business (or individual) will receive a free arrangement from Angel Flowers. Then, at our Chamber Christmas Party, one of the main door prizes will be one floral arrangement per month from Angel Flowers for a full year! Wow!
Layna and her family came to Angel Fire from Texas where she was employed by the Lewisville School District for fourteen years. They had always vacationed in the Enchanted Circle area and decided they would move as soon as their children were grown. When her husband J.D. was offered a position with the Angel Fire Police Department, they put their house up for sale in Flower Mound, Texas. It sold in three days! Plus they found out, they didn’t really have to wait for the kids to grow-up because all of their children moved, too! Layna says “Life couldn’t be more perfect.”
Whether you need flowers or errands, just call Layna at 575-377-5827 or check out her websites at www.angelflowersnm.com and www.beckncall.com. Maybe you’ll be one of the lucky members to get a fresh floral arrangement in our weekly drawings in October and November!

Hello! This crazy weather caused my flower order for my mom to be canceled for this weekend’s Mother’s Day.
Are you able to help me get something to her – flowers or anything you create-before Sunday?
She is in the Snowfire condominiums just near Angel Fire Resort.
Any creative ideas you have- I’m game!
