A Personal World Premiere
Celebrate the birth of a new piece of music written just for Music from Angel Fire, including a special personal touch, by composer David Ludwig. Performed by David’s new bride and former Music From Angel Fire Young Artist, Bella Hristova along with two of her mentors, Ida Kavafian and Steven Tenenbom. Also on the program is “Dover Beach”, written by Ludwig’s predecessor at Curtis, Samuel Barber, sung by the incomparable Susanne Mentzer.
