The Village of Angel Fire is currently seeking a full time police officer. The is a commissioned police officer position requiring previous law enforcement certification and experience. Officers perform all police services for the Village of Angel Fire. Officers are required and expected to excel in criminal investigations, report writing, traffic enforcement, accident investigations and all other aspects of law enforcement. Preference will be given to applicants with strong work histories in these areas. Competitive benefits package, including comprehensive health insurance and PERA retirement. Applicants must be currently New Mexico certified or be certified in another state and eligible for New Mexico Certification by waiver. Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Colorado applicants, as well as most other states are all qualified for this criteria. If hired the Village of Angel Fire would pay for the Certification by Waiver Class.
