We will now offer free night skiing and boarding for the remainder of the ski season*! Angel Fire Resort remains the only resort in the state to offer its popular night skiing and snowboarding. The terrain includes 50 acres of groomed trails on the front facing side of the mountain, as well as, the Night Rider terrain park.
“Starting immediately all guests who purchase a day lift ticket will be able to use that pass to ski and board at night at no additional cost,” explained Spencer Weimar, Director of Marketing, Angel Fire Resort. “With our milder early evening temperatures here in New Mexico, it allows our guests an additional four hours on the slopes under the lights.”
“We know it’s been an exceptionally slow start to winter here in New Mexico,” explained Weimar. “Things are starting to turn around with storms heading our way. We think this incentive will bring more people up as conditions improve. The free night skiing is a way we can thank our guests for coming up.”
*The free night skiing lift ticket is available to any guest who have purchased a daytime lift ticket on the same day.
Night skiing and boarding is available on Friday, Saturday and holiday nights.
By offering the complimentary nighttime lift ticket, it allows a perfect opportunity for guests who want to try out their skills under the stars. This ticket is usually $24, but is being offered to anyone who purchases a daytime pass on the same day. If guests would like to purchase a night ski and snowboarding lift ticket only, they are still available. Additionally, we offer new skiers and boarders an opportunity to learn under the stars with Sunset Private Lessons. Whether you’re arriving mid-day and can’t wait to hit the mountain or just have extra energy to burn, the Sunset Special provides a one or two-hour lesson and a lift ticket but is only available during night skiing. (Weekends and holidays, weather permitting.)
