Owner, Karen Kelley, has always had a passion for weddings. She worked as a marketer in the Ski Industry for over 30 years. Ultimately she would either start or be a major part in the wedding planning process at every Ski Mountain and Resort fo whom she was employed. In November 2017, she decided to funnel her passion by opening KWK Events. To date she has 32 weddings and events on the books, but she says there are still hundreds of dates available.
The contacts she has made by living and working, first in Angel Fire for 5 years and now Red River for 6 years, have helped to fuel her excitement. For many years she has envisioned these awesome events at various places all around the Enchanted Circle. First she toured the venues, businesses, and properties she thought would be good places to hold her events. Then she began to put them together. Because of this, she has partnered with the perfect people and venues to make any event a success. Her services are a one-stop shop so to speak.

Karen chose to stay in this area after she retired, she said “Bob and I love living in Red River, we are retired… but not really!” Then she laughed.
