Award of Achievement for Contributions to Aviation – the recipient is Dr. Jacque Boyd, in recognition for her 45 years of excellence in aviation education, research, and dedication to improving women’s roles in the aviation industry. Jacque has been a tireless trustee of the Amelia Earhart Memorial Scholarship Fund since 1997, its Chair since 2013 and spearheaded the Fly Now Award.
“Nobody is more worthy of the 99s Award of Achievement than Dr Jacque Boyd, Chair of the Amelia Earhart Memorial Scholarship Fund and Research Scholar Grant! Mindful of the eminent women pilots who created and carefully managed the Fund before her, she builds on their legacy with the vision and innovation needed to expand scholarship offerings for women pilots of today and tomorrow. Congratulations, Jacque, on having your longtime dedication and achievements recognized with this award!” says Jenny Beatty.
