There are 5 new cases in the Angel Fire area. Contact tracing is being performed, please self isolate if you have been notified that you may have come into contact with that person and get tested at the recommendation of the Department of Health.

Total confirmed cases in Colfax County since the beginning of the pandemic = 86 (“new cases” are removed 14 days after a positive result is announced)

• 11/14/2020 – 1 new case reported in the Springer zip code (Total since beginning = 2)
• 11/15/2020 – 4 new cases in the Raton zip code (Total since beginning = 48)

As of November 15, 2020 the NMDOH has reported testing 1,372,867 people in NM with 64,201 positive test results. Sadly, NM has reported 1,215 deaths due to Covid-19.

Please continue to practice the recommended hygiene and social distancing, and wear a mask when required. The percentage of positive tests per total tests is now 4.6% in NM. The fatality rate is 1.8% of those afflicted. The virus has affected 2.9% of the total population of NM and caused deaths in .05% of the total population in NM.
