Activities slow down a little in the Moreno Valley during April and early May. Tourists are not as visible, many locals head for the beach to get a little rest from the seasonal pace we keep, some businesses close to take a breather, do heavy cleaning and regroup for the next season. Now is the time, behind the scenes, when all of the preparation for what is to come in late spring and summer is at full speed. The weather either cooperates or doesn’t, we don’t mind at all. Currently with the monster fires looming to our south and east, we are monitoring their conditions daily. Our gratitude goes out to the brave and tireless firefighters battling to keep us safe, as we try to maintain a bit of normal in our day to day routines. We are also thankful for the spring snow that blanketed the mountain last night and are praying for the winds to cease entirely. With all that said, I want to give you a glimpse of what to look forward to May and June events for 2022.
