Angel Fire, NM – A golf tournament that began 36 years ago, awarded Moreno Valley High School a $5,000.00 grant to further education at the charter school, through the 36th Angel Fire Invitational, held this past weekend. “Our fundraising goals could never have been reached without our sponsors and the resort communities’ partnership, so we are thrilled to be able to assist a local school,” said Curt Hanlen, Tournament Director.
Since its inception, the New Mexico Alliance for Hispanic Education has been a leading educational force in the state helping generate over $8 million dollars and 4000 scholarships to deserving student around New Mexico, including numerous students residing in counties adjacent Angel Fire.
