You can also bike Angel Fire’s ski area. Take your bike up the Chile Express to the top of the mountain and explore the many biking trails.
The Chile Challenge, part of the Mountain States Cup Series, is held here each May. It’s two days of cross-country and downhill mountain biking.

Angel Fire Bike Park
Angel Fire Bike Park is a premier mountain bike destination in the southern Rocky Mountains. The Bike Park offers chairlift-accessed terrain for downhill, including beginner, intermediate and advanced/ expert trails. The Bike Park is an ideal location to learn the sport as it will offer riding clinics, bike rentals and repairs, guided tours, skills parks, freestyle features, special events and bike-friendly, slopeside lodging.
Angel Fire Bike Park has undergone major expansion and improvement the last couple of seasons, and offers an abundance of new and enhanced trails for riders of all abilities. In an effort to appeal to the beginner and intermediate rider, the Angel Fire Bike Park has expanded and reworked the trails so beginners will have a safe and controlled environment to learn the sport, improve their basic skills and fine-tune the right technique for difficult sections. The Bike Park also has the longest season in the Rockies with all trails open from mid-May to mid-October. Along with the revamped terrain the resort offers deep discounts on passes and lodging packages, creating the most affordable Bike Park in the country.
