Get Your Wild On in Angel Fire!
This week’s featured “I Know Jo” business had to cancel last minute, so I am going to share with you what I learned yesterday. It’s very cool! I’ll give you a little back ground first. Traci Orr and I are going to Albuquerque today to meet with a panel from the State Tourism Department. We will give an oral presentation for the grant we wrote in collaboration with the Village of Angel Fire, The Moreno Valley Arts Council, Music from Angel Fire, The David Westphall Foundation, (private partner) The Angel Fire Resort and the Angel Fire Chamber of Commerce. In preparation we decided the need to wear a little advertising for Angel Fire and the contest we are proposing.
Having recently purchased a T-Shirt press from Janet Sailor, I asked her to come over and teach me how it works. Prior to her coming, she gave her time and talent to design a mock logo for our presentation theme ” Get Your Wild On in Angel Fire.”
Below are photos I took as I learned the process and WaLah, the finished project! We are going to wear our t-shirts into the presentation! Fun. Hopefully we will be awarded the matching grant money to run the contest we have proposed. At that time I’ll fill you in on all the details!
